Review on 🔔 Knog Oi Bike Bell: Original & Luxe Styles with Cable-Clip - Adult/Youth Bicycle Bell (Black, Copper, Brass, Aluminum) by Damon Murray

The thing is beautiful! Unfortunately, I need something that will actually make people aware of my presence BEFORE I get there, and that's not happening. I tested it on a very quiet railroad track near me and people didn't seem to notice at all. After comparing it to a good quality proper "standard" bell, it's pretty clear that it's at least 10 times quieter and rings for about half or less the ringer duration. Some other notes: the lever is weak but we are adults and we can handle it. The bell sounds like something is touching the aluminum bell, heavily dampening the ring and introducing other noises (not a "clean" bell like in the video), needs to be very tight to hold securely. Did I say it's beautiful? I really wanted this as I don't like the look of the bell shaped swelling on the steering wheel.
