Review on Dayco 89379 Belt Drive Tensioner by James Trapkin

This is an overview of the tensioner pulley. I can't say there's anything to say. The real test is whether this part will last. I installed it myself and the fit and finish appear to be of high quality. I don't see any reason why it shouldn't last as long as the OEM, but that's without disassembly and not really a comparison. What I do know for sure is that it fits well, looks high quality and looks like a good replacement. I haven't had any issues with other Dayco products so I don't see why this should be worse. As long as it lasts as long as the new V-belt, I'm happy.
