Meets the task of

So far, so good. I can now charge my two electric vehicles at the same time as long as the total current does not exceed 50A. I set it to 48A just in case I'm not sure if the 50A ratings are peak or RMS current. The cable looks well put together and hasn't given me any problems for the past few months. $100 is a bit expensive for a splitter, but a lot cheaper than installing a second 240v outlet.
