This zabuton has been quite helpful in use with my Hugger Mugger rectangular meditation pillow/zafu. The best part? I am able to sit longer, in comfort, with less ankle and leg numbness. There is less shifting around to sit, too. I have bony ankles and feet and this cushion has made sitting in meditation so much better. I like the carrying straps, although I haven't had to take my zabuton anywhere else. It's nice to know I have it, just in case. Sturdy and worth the price. Glad I bought this as a companion to the rectangular zafu.
