This mount is just what I needed for my tabletop photography. The only good use I've found for this hand is on the horizontal plane and that's it. You can mount the sides to two posts and slide the center piece from side to side. It's well built and not as heavy as it looks, but did a great job with my Canon 5D MK II with a 16-35mm lens and flash. Just don't overload it too much, as the center mount doesn't feel like it can hold too much weight. Don't lift it too far off the table in case the racks and barbell fail. You don't want your gear hitting the floor or table from a great height. Recommended for the price, but if you need heavy gear, get something heavier.
