So I was definitely excited and spent a lot of time, as I'm sure a lot of you do or are doing, going through hundreds of reviews of different machines. For me, I needed something small, but I wanted a constant connection. I really couldn't find any videos or comments on what I had in mind, so I focused on the general pros and cons. I've worked pretty hard on this car for the month I've owned it. I wash every other day, and at first I washed every day for several days because I had a lot of laundry piled up. After trial and error with different hoses, I ended up buying a dishwasher hose (3/4" female and 3/8" male) for each line (cold and hot). (Yes the manual says not to use hot water - I have no idea why because it has a hot inlet but no problems so far. Will there be any upgrades I will face) I also bought a more durable drain hose and I put it at the end of the kit because where my car is a bit far away I put the hook on the wall and when I want to wash I can now reach the sink in the bathroom or kitchen and everything is fine (both have a strainer on the drain to catch anything that isn't caught in the lint collector). Miscellaneous. dishwasher and through the wall to the sink on the other side. I can wash a lot more than I expected but I don't want to overload. I can wash 3 days clothes for two adults (both adult sizes, small/medium/women's size 4/6 for reference). I'm going to try my queen size comforter this weekend but I don't foresee any problems. I make sure to clean the lint filter every time I undress and I only use the recommended amount of detergent. My clothes come out CLEAN! Another person in my family works as a plumbing worker and this little machine worked! I was very pleased with how clean they came out. As other reviewers have noted, the machine practically dries clothes by spinning. I bought a clothes dryer anyway because I hate hanging out laundry and waiting. I also really like it, as well as cleaning the screen of lint every time I use it. The car is loud but not too intrusive. It takes about 30-50 minutes depending on which cycle you choose. I haven't had any leakage issues and keep checking. In the month of ownership I've pulled it out and emptied the trap below just in case, twice so far. Follow the instructions in the manual, do not overload the machine (no more than 3/4) and use the recommended amount of detergent. Make sure it's on a level surface and stable (the front has adjustable feet to raise it as needed and I eventually did and it's solid now). I'm hoping to move onto a boat as a live-aboard in 2 years time and I really hope it works out well in that area. If anything changes I'll be sure to update the information as I've relied so much on other people's feedback that I felt it my duty to reciprocate. Get a car.
