Review on Schlage FE575 PLY 626 ELA by Michael Radhakrishnan

I really like this product after I installed it properly. As many have noted, the instructions included are for a set of pens *rather than* a standard type of pens. Schlage doesn't even have instructions for the pen type on their website. This causes a big headache for the last part of the installation. You have to guess which of the different sizes of grips goes on which side (and how exactly the sleeve goes on the outside). I had it installed for a little over a week. It worked great, programming was easy etc. Then the outside handle came off. and from. and from. After reading many reviews, I realized that this is a common problem. I was about to wrap it up and send it back to Revain. However, I read a review that pointed out that the handle with the longer handle is on the outside of the door (both actually fit, so when installing). I swapped two knobs and eventually it stayed. All it takes is a simple "Yes, by the way". in the instructions and 50% of the bad reviews probably wouldn't have been posted.
