Review on 🔑 Visor Remote Opener - Linear 3089 Multicode 3089 Compatible by Daryle Grove

First make sure it is 100% compatible with the garage door opener receiver, operates at 300MHz and only has 10 DIP switches. I did some research on my very old 455 automatic porter that I couldn't even find a manual for online. I'm pretty sure the garage door opener dates back to 1986 when my apartment was built. Anyway, I saw where someone else posted in a question for the same opener and the answer was yes, it's compatible. Well I was skeptical and figured if that didn't work I would just replace the whole opener which I didn't want to spend money on but wanted to be more convenient without having to get out of my car to open the garage. Door. Especially since my garage is on a busy street. It arrived quickly and I set the 10 digits just like my broken knife and it worked from the start! I even tried the car and tested it from the same distance as my old one. No problems and I'm very glad it was an inexpensive solution. Again, make sure your receiver is running at 300MHz. The MHz was on the back of my receiver which is on top of the garage door opener. One more thing, I kept trying to "move" the new opener to install it and couldn't open it. If I just took the time to read the instructions that came with it, it says to open it from the bottom with a small coin. Just chin up so you don't accidentally break it.
