I just had major back surgery and cannot sit. This means unless I'm laying down, I'm standing to do, quite literally, everything. I didn't even think about it prior to surgery and immediately started looking for anti-fatigue mats when I got home. I HAD to have a mat that was safe to roll a walker onto (no hard edges), absolutely has to be as trip resistant as possible, cannot slide or scoot around underfoot, must have enough cushion to make standing easier on me but can't be too thick to cause instability, the surface had to be easily cleanable as I do drop food on occasion, cannot be too heavy to move around (my husband is moving the mat but as I recuperate the mat cannot be too heavy for me to move), must be of decent size, must be ready to use (not rolled up, needs to fluff up, etc.). This mat fits absolutely EVERYTHING I needed. It is perfect. It came in a flat box and was ready to go. I would recommend this mat in a heartbeat! I have this mat in my kitchen on a tile floor.
