This great value kit comes at a great price. I wasn't sure what was wrong with the Hayes Prime brakes on my fat bike, so I didn't feel like jumping in for a $50 Hayes bleed kit. Two different bike shops have tried unsuccessfully to repair my soft rear brake by bleeding it. I finally found a bulge in the brake line on the 4th pump. I pulled the panel back until I found a spot in the line where brake fluid was leaking. I cut out the bad section of the brake line, reassembled and bled the rear brake for the fifth time. Tried and tested, the rear brake holds pressure and brakes just as hard as the front brake. So this low quality $17 kit fixed my bike and did what it was supposed to. I can choose a Hayes kit if that kit breaks because I like working with quality tools when I can afford them. And see if the Hayes set is really better. I will update this review when I do.
