Disappointing and overpriced

Fit almost as bad as the previous two versions (B&O tip: it's the shape, not the size). The sound is sizzling and punchy with lackluster bass (even with good padding). Moving between my iPhone and MacBook Pro was a frustrating exercise that required multiple resets. Several times they connected but played no sound until the next connection attempt. The auto standby setting is not saved in the application. They have a noticeable background noise, which I otherwise only expect from significantly cheaper headphones. No active noise cancellation. There is no auto pause feature. My devices stayed connected to the headphones even after putting them back in the case. At least they finally have a modern version of Bluetooth and AptX. For a 3rd generation product at a whopping $350 premium, this is ridiculous and not in the least competitive with what else is offered in this segment. I gave them a chance because I couldn't get the previous two versions to stay in my ears and hoped they would finally do their thing. While they fit better, they're still not very secure and I have to use the largest earbuds to hold them and get decent sound out of them. With all the weaknesses, I can't think of any. good reason to want them, especially at $350. You can save a lot of money and get a better product with a Sennheiser MTW or Master & Dynamic MW07 Plus or one of many other better and cheaper options. These are (maybe) $200 headphones masquerading as a premium product.

Pros
  • Good workmanship
Cons
  • Doesn't fit all
