Disappointing and overpriced

Fit almost as bad as the previous two versions (B&O tip: it's the shape, not the size). The sound is sizzling and punchy with lackluster bass (even with good padding). Moving between my iPhone and MacBook Pro was a frustrating exercise that required multiple resets. Several times they connected but played no sound until the next connection attempt. The auto standby setting is not saved in the application. They have a noticeable background noise, which I otherwise only expect from significantly…

Not enough value to justify the price

I'll be brief. It's just not enough to justify the $350 price tag. Purpose of Purchase I go out for an hour every day and am bored with the Sabbat E12's sound signature. For phone calls I only use my Airpod Gen 2, nothing else can match the call quality. And when I'm in line or even waiting, I use my Airpod Pros. I was hoping that the E8 Gen 2 could replace at least two of the wireless headphones mentioned above. I don't think the Airpods Pro have great sound quality. Its call quality is much…

A very good upgrade to the previous generation.

Some people really screw it up on YouTube reviews and stuff like that. yes they are expensive This is B&O. High prices, but super-premium workmanship and sound are special. It's not an overdriven bass sound, yes you can crank up the bass if you want, but it won't be that overwhelming bass. This is clean, punchy, balanced bass. B&O always seems to aim for the reference-quality sound, which I prefer, and it's great for all types of music and podcasts, not just rap. Yes, they don't have ANC. I'm…

Break in 24 hours - better with Gen 2 and Qi Case

TLDR: The only improvement over Gen 1/Gen 2 E8 is battery life and smaller size. The sound quality falls far short of the original. The right earbud broke after less than 24 hours of use. I bought these after having a reliable pair of Gen 1 E8 headphones which I really liked. I think I'm lucky that they fit snugly in my ears and thanks to the tips, they pretty much cancel out all ambient noise for me. Great for plane/train travel and commuting, only downside was poor battery life. My Gen 1s…

Pros
  • Feels good
Cons
  • Clarity

From the feel of a leather case to the comfort of the earbuds, I love these earbuds. They sit comfortably in my ears like emerald gems, even for extended periods, and switch from noise-cancelling to transparent mode with a single touch of the left earcup. The call quality is clear and the music sounds fantastic and I can stay on the line with my husband for hours with no problems with the call audio. He remarked that they seem to block out the noise in my background because if I regret the…

Great sound, decent performance.

I bought them to upgrade from the original first generation Beoplay E8s. Sound: Bang and Olufsen makes products that sound great. They shouldn't disappoint in terms of quality. However, if the sound out of the box doesn't appeal to you, they offer an additional app that allows you to fine-tune the sound to your liking. These headphones don't have active noise cancellation (ANC), which is a bummer for the price. Having used them I can't say it's a deal breaker as the earbuds offer very good…
