Love my Nu Wave hob and don't want to part with it

I've been using a NuWave PIC for at least 4 years, both Titanium and Pro. I had to order a new one because I dropped one of them and the glass top shattered. This was my fault and does not reflect the quality of the hob. Where I find this Mos cooktop valuable is when I need to adjust the cooking temperature. For me, it's most useful when I'm making bone broths. The broth should not be boiled, but simmered for several hours. When I try to boil the broth on a gas stove, it boils even at the lowest temperature. With this hob I can set it to 205 degrees and it maintains a gentle simmer. For my broths, I cook chicken and turkey bones for a minimum of 24 hours, and beef or bison bones for a minimum of 72 hours. I wouldn't feel safe leaving them on the stove for that many hours, but leaving them on the stove is no problem. I also really like that this hob lets me set the cooking temperature and it saves it for the time I set. I can't do this on my stovetop as I have no idea what temperature it is at each setting. I have both PIC Pro and Titanium and they are exactly the same in functionality and performance. I don't use the hob every day, but I can't do without it for broth or other recipes that require precise heating temperatures. about 4 years old. It's the same as Titan as it was just a name change. As mentioned, this isn't a device I use every day, but it's very useful when you need to quickly boil a large pot of water or maintain a specific temperature. I use this hob whenever I blanch veggies for freezing. The water boils much faster than putting the pot on the stove and I can put the pot next to the sink to put the veggies in the sink to cool. For making broth and broth, this is invaluable. I cook broth for up to 72 hours and this hob allows the broth to simmer for the required hours. This is something I can't do on my stove top as it will boil even at the lowest temperature spoiling the broth. This hob is excellent for cooking all types of food that require a certain temperature to be successful. Although I don't use this hob every day, I can't do without it for the purposes I use it for.
