Cadillac Induction Torch

My first induction torch was a Max Burton. I love it. Unfortunately, its lifespan was too short - about a year. Once you've used an induction hob, you won't want to cook on anything else. So I replaced it with NuWave Pro. It revolves around Max Burton, the Cadillac of induction burners. Temperature control is excellent and can be adjusted in 5 degree increments - temperature control on the Burton was good or not. With NuWave, food can be cooked to perfection without overcooking - there's a heat

A product that lives up to expectations!

I watched the commercial and immediately realized that it wasn't as good as it was made out to be. I'm happy to report that it works beautifully! (While your cookware is "induction ready". A simple test is to take a magnet and see if it sticks to the bottom of the pan in question. If the magnet sticks, you're done! Dishes are heated. Cleans quickly and easily "I really like that I can take the pan for small adjustments and the stove keeps its settings. Some previous models went straight into…

Best Portable Stove Ever

This one is about 4 years old; it still works great. Temperature control isn't precise, but it's very consistent. Once your pan has reached the temperature, it will remain at that temperature. I use a laser thermometer to know exactly what the temperature is. Most of the heat is in the 7-inch center, so I use Calphalon and All-Clad pans, which distribute the heat evenly. It works great for basically everything. The heat is so stable that I z. B. Sous Vide Hillbilly steaks with a zipper can be…

BLOCK ALMOST TANNED: THE COMPANY DOES NOTHING (Reviewed by a Chef)

I'm a Chef. Here is my review: Short Review: DO NOT BUY THIS PRODUCT. Long review: The devices overheated so much that the candles started to melt. I called the electrician thinking the outlets were bad or there was a bad connection somewhere in the house (new, btw). I called NewWave Corporation and spoke to Angelica G., who works with management. She was rude and impatient. She asked me to send her the model numbers of the devices. I have made. She then asked me to send her a photo of these…

Tesla is the best!

Finally received after years of waiting. I've been waiting for a more powerful version. I don't buy anything no matter how good it is unless it's what I need. Looks like a replicator from Star Trek TNG. I always expect a cup of Earl Gray tea to materialize on it. lol, I usually drink half a glass of water for 3 minutes until it boils. I poured the same amount of water into a pot and it boiled in 30 seconds! Now this is the technology of the future. I love that it comes with a holdall, but the…

Love my Nu Wave hob and don't want to part with it

I've been using a NuWave PIC for at least 4 years, both Titanium and Pro. I had to order a new one because I dropped one of them and the glass top shattered. This was my fault and does not reflect the quality of the hob. Where I find this Mos cooktop valuable is when I need to adjust the cooking temperature. For me, it's most useful when I'm making bone broths. The broth should not be boiled, but simmered for several hours. When I try to boil the broth on a gas stove, it boils even at the…

BEST induction hob. hands down!

Of course I became interested in one of them when I saw the As Seen video on TV. It sounded amazing. So I opened the website and after a few minutes I was too confused and frustrated to bother. So many surcharges, options, free this and that, but add postage and exorbitant handling and within seconds the purchase has gone from $89 to over $200 (for 2 units, pots, pans, double/triple postage and handling) , you know the game. I declined. Read the reviews - pots and pans are junk anyway. Then I…

Pros
  • The Best in Their Niche
Cons
  • Contemporary

I bought and tried the top of the range Duxtop, but it didn't meet my expectations for temperature control despite its 20 control levels. This NuWave Pro cost me more money, but it's worth it if you want temperature control closer to that of a kitchen induction cooker. I have a great induction cooktop in my kitchen so I know how much better induction allows you to instantly access the heat you want and maintain that temperature compared to traditional electricity or gas. I'm giving this one…
