Utter. Magic. good for me

Update: I have been using this brush for a few months now, and I am still in awe of how much hair I can remove from animals. I've also shown the gloriousness of the rake to my sister (her large mix breed is possibly more hairy than either of of Goldens, think Sasquatch with four paws) who ordered one, as well as my parents, who have two midsize terrier/hounds on which this thing works magic and needed their own. It's also a win with the medium haired cat, and I'm waiting for spring to see how it works on the fur rug of a winter coat the horse grows. Just buy one, and don't let your fellow animal-owning friends have it out of your sight!Original: I have two golden retrievers, which means I own 97 brushes, two vacuum cleaners, and every de shedding tool seen on TV or online. My gold standard prior to this was the Furminator brush, which most people will tell you is the Holy Grail for people with furry pets, and I said the same thing for years. It is an amazing brush. Then, I found this. Not going to lie, I was hesitant to trade in my precious Furminator at first, but I decided to give it a try. Out of the box, it looks like some sort of torture device with a squishy handle, but I grabbed the nearest dog and took a swipe.Sweet baby Jesus. These critters get brushed several times a week, as well as go swimming 3+ days a week and get blowdried after, so I thought I had the hair (mostly) under control.I was wrong. Now, for the using. The brush has two sides of teeth, and heck if I know which is better for what part of the dog or to use first, but they both work. The handle has a gel cover, which is soft and squishy so mushes to fit perfectly in your hand. It has a tendency to pull on the hair if you just rake it across the dog like a regular brush at first, which is super not ok for my dogs or probably any dogs, but if you take it slow and work your way around the dog, it's magic. Total. Magic. My girl laid on the floor by me for 3 hours so I could brush her, and I made three trips to the trash can with hair. The biggest question is after that, how is she not bald?Buy this now. Your vacuum will thank you.
