Review on Reloading Precision Supplement Milligram Calibration by Monica Williams

Revainrating 1 out of 5

I've tried several inexpensive scales, these are the most sensitive and accurate I've found.

Although not a lab worker, I am an engineer and had extensive lab experience in college. So far, for dollars spent, this scale appears repeatable, linear, and sensitive. This is the first inexpensive digital scale I've tried that can recognize and correct the readings when I add a small sheet of paper that weighs approximately 0.0025 grams (0.04 grains) while the 5 gram reference weight is on the Libra stands. For reloaders, the scales may not be accurate to a core every time, but they are close. The one I have will repeat powder loads of +/- 0.05 grains, probably even slightly better. I'm almost certain that perfectly accurate scales would cost a lot more. Why not 5 stars? It would be nice if there was an option to run on electricity and battery. The reference weight of 20g (according to the manual) does not appear to be 20,000g.
