Newly built home was purchased in 2018, the custom builder installed multiple LED lights throughout the home (under kitchen cabinets, around the ledge in the master bedroom, lights under the sofa outside and a few others) and had similar power supplies in operation all lights. One of the three PSU fans failed and I replaced all three as they seemed pretty cheap. I've never wired anything like this before, but it was pretty easy. I also grabbed a cheap voltmeter to make sure the power supply is set to the correct voltage before connecting. They are MUCH quieter (fans only turn on when warm) and have been running for a few months with no issues. I'm definitely an amateur here, but they appear to be made from quality parts.
