This chain lock kit was purchased after my mountain bike was stolen from the car. My bike was locked with a cable lock and the thief cut the cable lock clean. I chose this lock because of the LPL. This OKG lock is definitely a big upgrade. 80 cm is enough to attach a bike to the rear hitch mount. I recommend buying a longer chain if you need to secure two bikes. I love that the U-bracket fits over the 1-1/4" hitch mount and can secure the bike rack and bike. Very thoughtful design. It also works well for the bike mounted on my car's roof rack.
