Big and tall. Not much.

Okay so I ordered a chair as I was looking for a replacement. that would hold me I read/watched several gaming chair reviews and settled on this one based on price and features (another one from a different company would have cost me close to $500). Pros: The base seems solid enough and is made of knurled metal. The frame of the chair is steel with VERY strong elastic straps. Did you know that most chairs are made from styrofoam instead of chipboard? There is no chipboard in this chair (or any I've found). The assembly wasn't bad. Everything is connected as it should. The reclining function takes some getting used to because it is a racing chair. The lumbar and neck pillows really help in certain positions. The color scheme is nice and subtle (black, gray and some white). This faux leather feels pretty good. Pretty soft. The armrests work as intended and are solid as well. Cons: My biggest issue with the chair is the width of the seat (or how it's designed). That's partly because I'm a tall man, but wide when I'm sitting. When I sit in a chair, the wings of the seat dig into my thighs. I feel kind of uncomfortable. If only the seat were maybe an inch wider on each side OR those wings weren't there, this chair would be amazing. A minor note, as everyone else has pointed out, is the lack of straps on the lower lumbar pad. I really wish you guys could fix this. In general, I think I can stand on a chair. I may have to add some padding to try and cover those fenders, but it works.

Pros
  • High marks for support and durability from testers
Cons
  • Not as thick as other options
