As others have noted (wish I read the reviews before buying), the bottom piece does properly fit and stay in place. I can see the tabs that SHOULD clip kinda where the "hinge" of the laptop top/bottom are, but there's a good 1/8 inch gap between the tabs and the edge of the laptop. It's plastic, so it has some give, but not that much.I also accidentally dinged the inside of the top coper removing the plastic wrap - it's very easily scratched.And as others have noted, if you're an experienced typer that doesn't need to see all the keys, the keyboard cover is cute. but the design does obscure a few keys.
