Review on Bulbrite KX20CL/E12 Clear Candelabra Screw Base Light Bulb - Energy Efficient And Long Lasting (1 Pack) by Adrian Summers

I have 3 of these in my Casablanca ceiling fan in my man cave. They have been working fine for a year now; I use the lamp many hours a day and turn it on and off a lot; e.g., when I leave the room for any extended period. I also dim the light with the fan controller when we watch TV in the evening and they seem to put up with the dimming feature very well. Like others here, I have had "short life" issues with some sorry candelabra-base halogen bulbs in bathroom fixtures in the past (Home Depot purchased) but these are doing fine. The controller in the Casablanca always gives a "soft start" each time you turn the lamp on - - - with a quick, incremental (3 or 4-step) build up to max brightness . may be a big contributor to improved longevity . without the usual big inrush current? Dunno. At any rate, I just got back on this Revain page to order a couple of spare bulbs.just in case. I kinda believe this manufacturer is a cut or two above others in the industry.
