1 year review: As this unit has rubber bands I knew it would be strong enough to be used on a motorcycle. I ride all year round regardless of the weather. Okay, maybe not snow/ice, but rain doesn't bother me at all. I ride a bike so I've ridden about 10,000 miles since adding this mount. The rubber band still works great and I'm not worried about this product becoming obsolete and unreliable. I use it in landscape mode, and the only time I had an issue was when I accidentally tugged on the headphone cord, which caused the phone to shoot out of the unit at 70mph. Totally my fault and luckily the small 3.5mm jack that connects the phone to the headphones was strong enough to keep my new phone from falling to the ground. Either way, if you're looking for an alternative to expensive RAM solutions, this is it. You can buy 20 of these for the price of all the parts you need to install your RAM.
