Westmark 2 in 1 Plum Pitter is a terrible product. I've used it on small hard plums and it's been a disaster. He pitted the plum, mashed all the fruit and some of the juice into a container with the pit, squirting the juice everywhere, leaving only the appearance of a torn peel. The blades are very blunt, as are the forked ends - running them across your fingers was like using a butter knife. I've tried using both gentle and fast plunger pressure and it made no difference - fruit puree, mashed zest, some juice in container, lots of juice on the counter. I expressly DO NOT RECOMMEND this product!
