I grew up using chopsticks and have become quite a harsh critic over the years. I've seen everything from natural wooden chopsticks made from hair to collapsible metal chopsticks and I have to say these are some of my favorites. I got them as a gift for my mom who is an even tougher critic than me and she loves them too! I think for what you pay the quality is off the charts. They are functional and still look great. The material feels expensive and the design is made so that while they are fitted, the ridges and contours make them unique and somehow handcrafted. My only concern is that I have a family of 6 and only get 5 when buying a box. I wish there was an option to purchase boxes by the number you had in mind almost as much as paying per pair not per box, but this is more of a personal issue than any issue with the product.
