No major complaints, this device makes a decent cup of cold drink. It's not rocket science, you just have to put the beans in water in the fridge overnight. Being glass, the pitcher doesn't absorb paint/odours like plastic, but it's also very heavy. There is a rubber o-ring between the black plastic lid and the glass jar and every time I unscrew the lid the o-ring falls out and I have to put it back in. When I screwed the lid back on this morning the o-ring came out and fell to the bottom of the pot full of coffee but the lid closes without the ring so I can just throw it away. Anyway, yes it's a functional cold brew method and it produces decent coffee, but if it eventually breaks I won't be buying it again. I'll probably look for something bigger that's made without plastic BPA. EDIT: forgot to mention accessories. The funnel works very well and is easy to clean, no complaints. BUT SHOVEL. The instructions state that you must add a specific amount of ground coffee, measured in ounces and grams, to the filter. Shovel sizes are marked on the handle in CUPS AND MILLITERS. Oh, dude. I did some math and found that the directions say to use about 2.5 scoops (just under 1/3 cup, and 1 scoop is 1/8 cup). That's right, they included a scoop which was clearly not designed for this device, it's just a random metal scoop. I did 2.5 scoops the first time to see how full the filter would be and I'll just keep an eye on the same amount in the future and forget about the scoop altogether.
