Review on Steelex Plus D3206 Drill Guide by Johnny Pigao

The product has to be either pretty good or pretty terrible for me to write a Revain review and unfortunately this will be the last. I was looking for a tool to drill vertical holes in wood that were too big for my drill press. It seemed like a simple and straightforward solution, and maybe it could have been, but the quality wasn't there. The kit includes a center pin that you insert into the 3/16" socket and then center the drill site. Then switch to the jack you want to use. The centering pin will not fit in the 3/16" socket, and if z btw my 1/2" drill will not fit in the 1/2" sleeve! Also, the bushings are too loose in the base, so your drill doesn't really stay upright. It seemed like a good idea, and maybe Rockler's version is better, but his version is a waste of money. Stay away.
