I didn't have any problem using the Arduino platform with recognizing and programming this device. I used one of the WiFi sketches that's baked into the Arduino programing platform, to verify the WiFi capability works. Range between my router and the device seemed not to be an issue, understanding that the devices were in the same woodframed home where I've had no trouble commercial WiFi-capable device.I haven't done any in-depth programming with the device's sensors but initial, cursory programming revealed zero issues. I feel confident that this controller is up to the task for my next suitable programming journey. Five stars.
