I bought this because I've been training for road biking for a hundred years this year and needed more space for my gear while I'm miles from home, and also to easily carry it with a third bottle of water, to stay adequately hydrated. Overall this is a fairly good quality bag with some handy elastic organizers to fit my spare Smith lenses in their protective cases. Easily attaches to handrails and seatposts. Although the saddlebag is quite large, it does not protrude very much and thus does not impede leg movement or look unsightly. It's also fairly stable with minimal bounce while driving, even on bumpy roads. The main downside is that the water bottle doesn't go in and out easily when the pack is partially or fully filled, so you can't take the bottle out and stop mid-ride. I would also say that zippers deserve an improvement because the metal wires in them don't go far enough into the rubber part of the tongue so they bend too easily when pulled out, especially when the bag is full and closes tightly. All in all I would buy it again which I unfortunately have to do as FedEx lost my bike and gear when I come back from a race I recently attended.
