There is value, but only if they continue to work, right? Microphones are super thin. The quality of the plastic just isn't there. Bought two of these devices. Within the first 3 hours of using one of them, the mic completely failed and started making bad feedback noise (constantly). Various buttons on the microphone also failed, including (horn, siren). I sent this block back. I saved the other one - and it still works about a month later. But I have to say - I worry about the microphone turning off every day. The quality is just too bad. Also, I don't see any way to buy a new microphone cheaply and permanently. Speaker volume is good! And this part feels well made - nice and heavy. Slightly better microphone quality would be great! 3 stars is generous.
