Review on 💪 Enhanced Fluval 404-405 Tune Up Kit for Optimal Performance by Matt Pratt

This was a waste of money and time on my 404. I had to replace the inner cover and impeller. Nothing fit on my 404, even though all the parts were labeled 404. The impeller is too big. Wrong diameter ceramic rod. Impeller, shaft size, magnet diameter, impeller fins, sleeve size were wrong. I drilled the new cover's bushing to fit the old impeller to try and reuse it, but no wonder it was noisy. Here are some photos of the original and this kit as I threw my old $100,404 pair and this $50 repair kit in the trash. Probably 2 hours of my life wasted too. I'm sure there are explanations, but they aren't obvious in the product description. Maybe the o-ring is the right size, but I don't care anymore.
