I don't like how it confuses people
The one pulled from my E46 has a 50% thicker filter bed and the flow direction is marked on the filter housing. This filter has a much thinner filter layer and no flow direction indicator. You should be warned as it can still show up. All home and car air filters have an air flow direction indicator. While I can point out the correct installation direction, I don't like how it confuses people, not to mention that it's 50% thinner. Also, it fits my car perfectly. Next time I will look for other brands.
