Review on 2L/67OZ Stainless Steel Automatic Pet Water Fountain - Quiet Drinking Fountain For Cats & Dogs Of All Sizes! by Brandon Teitel

Got this for my cat cause the plastic fountains started accumulating mold after years of use/cleaning. Figured stainless steel was more sanitary and easy to clean. First issue right away, they put adhesive stickers on the outside of the fountain that I’ve been scrubbing & scraping for hours with acetone and now the entire outside of the tank is sticky. The whole top of the fountain just kind of sits there. Nothing locks or clicks in so it doesn’t feel durable whatsoever. The buoy is a cheap piece of plastic that falls out every time you move it. The cord to the motor is completely in the way and makes the top of the fountain even less stable even if you try to feed it through the awkward holes on the lid. I don’t see how this will work long term since it falls apart every time you try to clean it/refill the tank. I’ll use it for now cause my cat refuses to drink out of a dish but I’ll definitely be getting a different brand. Would not recommend.
