They were mounted on a trailer with external brake lights. First time down the hill, with the original lanterns, with 2 bales of hay, and they got caught on branches and bent/broke. Used a grinder to cut the welds and remove the original lights. These lanterns were installed under the gate, which offers exceptional protection. Installation consisted of drilling a few holes and using washers to allow for the necessary clearance for the wiring harness. Grab some blue wire connectors and you'll be up and running in no time. After that, the headlights are clearly visible and work as intended. It was a good modification to the trailer to prevent further damage to the light.
