This is a performance/current tester only, USB data will NOT work!
TL;DR USB DATA doesn't work if you just want to test chargers, that's good, otherwise keep looking. I bought this specifically to test the power consumption of some embedded development boards in different power saving modes and I was happy to pay more for the accuracy. While this device is good at measuring detail, it seems to be doing something very wrong with the data lines as I can't seem to get any device to enumerate correctly when connected through the device. I've contacted support, updated firmware, tested different cables, tested different orientations, USB 2.0 and USB 3 devices, still to no avail. Since it does half of what I wanted, I give it half the stars.
