Review on 🚤 Linkitom 2021 Submersible LED Trailer Light Kit: Super Bright, Fully Waterproof Tail Lights with Stop, Tail Lights, Turn, and License Lights Function for Boat Trailer by Kevin Tompkins

After connecting and installing all the lights from this kit, one of the taillights was powered by both the drive and brake cables while only one was powered by the tractor. I could see that the pins in the 4 pin connector on the trailer side were shorted together. By shaking the contacts it would be possible to isolate them properly, but disconnecting and reconnecting will eventually result in the contacts reconnecting. At this point the entire kit is installed on my trailer and everything else seems to be working, so a trip to the Autozone to test the new connector was enough to get it working properly. I'm not happy with this in the wire due to the extra splices, but it will work, and at least on the dry side of the trailer. I hope the plug is the only issue and I don't find any other quality control issues.
