I am very satisfied with how everything went. I have 2 of these dresses and just wanted to decorate my room. I started with a primer (Zinsser BIN White Water Based Primer) and then a coat of chalk paint (Rusteleum White Linen Chalk Paint). I used a brush (Brossum 2 in 1 Chalk Circular Brush) on the dresser and foam rollers (spare FoamPRI 65-5 mini rollers) on the drawers. I like the foam roller MUCH better than the brush. I can see brush strokes on the dresser, but I can't see them from afar. I also used polyacrylate (Varantane Ultimate Polyurethane, water based, crystal clear in satin) for the drawers and wax (Retique It for furniture in clear) for the dresser. I love the look and feel of polycryl and am planning to just redo the top of the dresser with it.
