Well I had high hopes for a $30 unit that would mirror the screen of my iPhone in my car (2014 QX80). And these hopes were actually too high. First, the installation process is disgusting. After several attempts I finally managed to connect it. And there are no problems with the instructions. They were pretty clear in the order of the steps. Is it the device itself or the software? The mirroring lags and is usually delayed by a second or two. It also stops mirroring quite often. Of all my attempts, he stayed in touch the longest at about 10 minutes. There is also one thing they left out in their description. You see, most cars have a feature that prevents the video from playing while the car is in motion. I knew this was happening but figured there might be a workaround in the software or hardware. Well, we know the old adage about what happens when you guess. In any case, I don't recommend it - spend another $$$ and get something that might require an actual install.
