Works well but had some issues and not sure what is to blame.

Works well only had two issues with it and ended up using it to connect another monitor. Problem 1) I tried using it with this switch (link below) and it didn't work so not sure if it was the switch or this wire didn't like itself. [Link to the switch: https://www.amazon.com/gp/product/B0722HJP27/ref=oh_aui_detailpage_o01_s00?ie=UTF8&psc=1] but the switch worked from HDMI to Ethernet so not sure. Problem 2) Sometimes I don't get much static signal instead of video. But not by much, and it's easy to fix when it happens. so not sure why that is
