Review on 🚧 Evenflo Top of Stairs Extra Tall Gate in Tan Wood: Secure & Stylish Solution by Jessie Lopez

I have been using 3 of these gates for about 18 months now. Anyone who has stairs in their home should make sure they use the metal security gates at the top. Hanging gates are just pointless because if a child pushes them, the gates can fall off and both roll down the stairs. . I chose this particular goal after much research and the frustration of not being able to find a goal with the perfect score. I'm very glad I went with them. I installed one at the top and bottom of my basement stairs and one between my living room and kitchen. I think they are easy to use for an adult but quite difficult for a kid (which is perfect). The gate slides out easily if you want to put it aside, although I've found that since it pivots to either side it's easy to keep open without getting in the way. What you need to know: This gate will serve its purpose. They stay in place and strong enough against toddlers and babies. What needs improvement: I feel the quality of this gate needs improvement. Individual posts feel flimsy and flimsy, but overall the aim is solid. A layer of varnish also makes the wood more pleasant to the touch.
