I LOVE this thing! $30 is a lot but it's really thick, soft, well made and works great. I rescued a little rat from the store. They abused her so much that she screamed when you approached her and bit anyone who picked her up. She was isolated in the store (which is bad for a rat) and we're just giving her away for free because she was 'wild' and 'crazy'. I brought her home and gradually started to get her used to sounds and smells. I slowly put my hand in her cage to let her know I'm not here to do anything bad. About a week later I got a hug for the critters and it was magical! I stopped it at the cage door and immediately my little boys and girls began to crawl inside. The injured rat saw other rats crawl in safely, and a minute later it did too. 3 days after I let her just crawl in and pet other rats calmly in a hug, she started letting me pet her. Now she's the first to come to the cage door to greet me! It gave her a safe way to trust me and I am very grateful for that. It's also a HUGE hit with all the other rats and keeps my skin from scratching. So far he has had up to 6 rats at a time (3 adult and 3 small rats). 100% recommend this item!
