Dangerous! The dogs are gone!

Your determined dogs are dangerous! I was so happy to use this gate to protect the fed ex guy from my small but wild dogs. Well the doorbell rang and I tricked the dogs into going the other way as I opened it slightly and walked through the gate to open the door. To my surprise, one of my dogs easily slipped through the side of the extension gate! The night before I heard a fight and discovered that my other, bigger dog had somehow ended up on the other side of the gate! She must have squeezed through like a mouse to get to the other side. I don't trust Gates anymore. I think it's dangerous. Especially if one of the dogs or a child gets stuck! I can't believe this is being used for kids let alone dogs! What good is a gate if the rails are so far apart? This is very bad because I liked the ease of opening and closing the gate. security guard and housekeeper. I don't know what to do about it now. Maybe add some sort of fence or trellis. So you can't get through. Assembly was a little frustrating but fairly easy once you figure out the dimensions and direction to turn the expansion knobs. I live in an old house with uneven sagging walls, maybe that made it more difficult. I really appreciated how adjustable it is considering the walls are so uneven. It stays in place pretty well. I mean I can push it out with some force, but for my purposes I didn't have to keep screwing it into the wall. What if you do seems simple enough. I just think it's very dangerous without a secure network. Especially if a child or a dog has gotten inside. Or, even worse, they sneak in where they don't belong, like a toddler or baby at the top of the stairs. Please add a grid or search for something else!
