Product update. Overall after a year of using this product I have to say I am very disappointed. The real Marco Polo receiver and transmitter appear to work well and the system actually works. My Marco Polo transmitter stopped working after 11 months. I've found that I'm getting accurate distance readings from all three transmitters that I own, and that there's no noticeable difference in range over time and usage. The bracket that holds the transmitter is very poorly made and poorly designed. This is my fourth or fifth that I have had to replace. If you plan to leave it with your dog, it will last for several months at best. If your dogs or dogs are outdoors or sporting dogs, forget it. I have attached a photo to show the condition. It's cheaply made. It's falling apart and the velcro seems to irritate my dog's neck. My transmitter also fell out of the bracket attached to the dog's collar several times. Which leads to you searching for your transmitter and hoping that nobody picked it up and took it away. I will say that the customer service at this company is excellent. You definitely need to go back to the drawing board on some aspects of this product. Pretty disappointing considering I use this for my dog's safety and well being. I would pay twice as much for a decent collar holder in a more durable product.
