I'm a voice actress and I use my iPhone to record MP3s for auditions. I bought this mic hoping the sound would be better than when using my phone. The microphone I received didn't work at all. When I recorded my voice in a sealed room with no background noise, the sound quality was like we were running a fan in the room and it was like something over the mic had muted the volume. I contacted the customer support email packaged in the box and they said there is occasional interference with microphones. They offered to send me a replacement and not have to worry about sending me a broken mic. The new mic worked better with no distortion, but I'm not sure I'm getting better audio quality than what my iPhone recording app offers. So basically I'm happy with the customer service, but I'm not sure about the microphone itself.
