It's been two years now that it has been working in a home server, almost around the clock, I rarely turn it off. At the moment, it has worked almost 13,000 hours, during this time 16 bad sectors have appeared (judging by SMART; 4 trouble on the main partition + a few on the already unallocated part in the tail of the disk).
