This is my first kitchen scale, bought it to serve sourdough starters and international recipes by weight. I've used measuring cups/spoons my entire culinary life. Now I prefer to use a scale, put the ingredients straight into the mixing bowl and end up with fewer dishes to wash. :p The scale itself is solid, good size that I can read on even from a large bowl. The display is easy to read. They are thicker and heavier than other similar scales on the market. Overall I am satisfied with my purchase.
