i waited almost a week and the charging adapter came. It worked fine on day one, transferring channels fairly quickly, working with my USB c for data and power. Unfortunately I didn't have a breakdown, I don't know if anyone else had. I personally have never experienced that until today. I wanted to connect a second monitor (I already had one from USB C) so I used my HDMI cable. Later that day I'm ready to leave my house and I take out the key and try to gently remove the HDMI cable and it happened. The tip was so tight in the key that the cable came loose when I tried to remove it! Now I have to buy a new HDMI cable for it. I also noticed that it had a hard time sitting on par with the Mac. Overall build quality seemed good. Maybe it was an accident. Anyway, it turned out to be crap.
