I bought two of these for our ski lodge. Setup was simple back then, but this summer the power went out and the thermometers weren't remotely connected. I've tried everything I can think of including remote modem reset. When I was finally able to get here I spent hours trying to connect them, eventually deleting the app and reinstalling it like it was new with a different email id. I understand there may be technical issues, but for $50 a piece there should be better options for dealing with power or internet issues. I've also concluded that you need to be near the thermometers and connected via bluetooth to reset the wifi, so you need to be there to reconnect them. Other remote tools with apps don't seem to have these power down issues (e.g. remote cameras and power outlets). What's good about a thermometer that needs nearby Bluetooth to reset when you're not around? Defeats the purpose of buying this remote thermometer. For this price I will not buy again.
