I recently bought a cheap radio on ebay with a weak tuner. I can get the local radio station, but nothing out of town. The previous radio could pick up all the regular stations I get on my other cars, so I knew this was the new radio. I bought this for that reason, but there is no noticeable difference with or without the amp connected, I mean none! In fact, it can even have a negative effect, since a local station that I can receive will sound worse if I plug in an amplifier. Save your money I think you will be disappointed.
