Review on Stainless Steel Pineapple Cutter Corer Peeler Fruit Slicer Remover Kitchen Tool by Nicole Fisher

This is exactly what I was looking for. I have one of the pineapple corers that spirally slices the pineapple into thin strips. This works well for some applications, but I wanted to be able to cut out the core and leave the rest of the pineapple intact without the outer skin. I've only used it once, but when I cut the core down to the base of the pineapple, it was almost impossible to extract the core and/or the outer part of the pineapple. It was like a suction cup and I had to break off the tip to get it out of the core. With some effort I was able to pry the core out of the middle, but the outside was very difficult to remove. I am returning the item; I would hate to use it again and it would just sit in my closet collecting dust. The product is very durable and well made, but just doesn't perform as I hoped or expected.
