Well I usually follow reviews but this looked perfect for my 100lb gentle giant dog not to let him roam while I work nearby. He stood quietly while I tried to open that suction cup by using two hands and a third hand to slip the ring in and it was almost impossible. Removing the ring is even more difficult if the dog is breathing heavily. My fingers still hurt. I'm pretty sure this monster will be back before I can even see it, it rusts just looking at it. (I can't see how to secure it if it's rusty.) Updated 20th August 2013. I kept it, I hate it. just as impossible to open and close as we thought it would be, but it didn't start to rust. Please note that this suction cup is very heavy. labs and beyond. (I bought an elephant-sized double clamp to avoid the clamp that came with it.)
